CAT control allows you to set/get the frequency and mode of your transceiver. Also suitable if you use a USB to RS232 adapter. The interface gives you CAT control of your transceiver using "older" PCs legacy RS232 comm port. The interface used the highly reliable FTDI UART comm port chipset.
The interface gives you CAT control of your transceiver via a built in USB Comm port. The interface has a built in PTT function and can be used without a CAT interface.
